Welcome to Mindful Riding. This program was developed as a way to use mindfulness principles to gain a closer, more meaningful relationship to our horses and in the process, develop a deeper understanding and acceptance of ourselves. Horses allow us to find inner harmony and peace by being fully present and engaged. Mindfulness is an ancient eastern practice that has gained popularity in the west as a way to decrease stress and find balance in one's life. Mindful Riding is a rider development program aimed at balancing the rider's mind, body and spirit.
